Consultation Papers

Consultation papers are drawn up by working groups appointed by the Federal Policy Committee.  They are presented as the first stage in the development of Party policy in relation to specific areas.  These papers do not represent agreed Party policy but are designed to stimulate debate and discussion within the Party and outside.  Based on the responses generated, and on the deliberations of the working group, full policy papers will be drawn up and presented to Conference for debate.
